And I believe it was only a 389.

I was at Mecum yesterday and saw the car up close. I didn't spend a lot of time looking closely at it, but it appeared to be a very original car in very nice shape. Odometer showed 12k miles. Not sure if that was 112k, but I think it could have passed for a 12k mile original car. Had the 4 speed, factory tach on the dash, limited slip rear, PHS documented, all the original paperwork and dealer invoice, Protect-o-plate, 8 lug wheels, black on black, etc. Very nice car. Gives me some hope my '64 GP auto with factory air may be worth something someday! Ha!

I don't have any hope of my 1964 421 GP ever being worth much. My wife's run of the mill 1962 Bonneville is worth twice as much as the GP.
