Default 0-port shorty headers for Dutch formula 400 needs your help

Dear Gearheads,

I want to install Edelbrock RPM cylinder heads #60599 with round ports on my '79 formula with a 400 engine.
To avoid header fitment troubles I consider to use shorty headers.
They should have round ports due to the RPM heads. I'm looking for good quality flanges and stainless steel.

Your suggestions please. Good quality alternatives are welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Gerrit

Hey Roadrage David. Nice to meet you here.

Are you at the Drachten II dragraces next weekend?

I'll be there on Saturday and Sunday so we might discuss Pontiac

Hey Gerrit,

Generally with Pontiacs the majority of people in your situation will use an improved reproduction exhaust manifold from R.A.R.E.

A shorty header would not gain anything over one of these ram air manifolds from the testing that's been published.

But to answer directly, I have not seen any production round port shorty. It is counter-intuitive to choke set of HP heads something like this (in theory)
