NO Power Steering NO Power brakes
WAS 3-speed Manual trans on column,now in floor.

Trunk floor looks pretty good. Charged up a battery & poured some gas in the carb & it fired up but as the Original Owner I got it from told me,It probably needs a fuel pump & I bet some fresh gas in the tank and of course it needs restoring

Yes it still has the 3 speed manual trans. Yes it still has the original manual column but the lever and linkage rods are gone. Shifter is now in the floor.

tell me more about the car. any rust on qtrs, fenders, doors, etc, particularly any rust through in trunk and floors. is car drivable, do you have any xtra parts for the car? thanks

I poured gas in the carb and it starts up but driveable? No. Will need AT LEAST a new fuel pump,Fresh gas and battery for that. Can send some pics of some areas you may wanna see what is or IS NOT bad for your judgement. Trunk pan does not seem to have any big holes if any at all but definately surface rust.

just out of curiosity, did you get your asking price for the 71? or close to it?

Actually I did even better. Traded it for a 95 Formula Firebird LT1 6-Speed Convertible. Stage 3 ported heads,Lingenfelter cam,Headers,3:73 gear,Etc,Etc. Dyno sheet 342 HP at the tires. 1 of 1034 Formula convertibles built in 95. Planning on driving it to Ohio for the POCI/GTOAA show this week. It will be for sale later. It pays to be patient & ignore lowballers & stupid (yet amusing) trade offers.
