Anyone have recommendations for a max tire size on a 15x7 Ralley II wheel for my 71 GTO? Thank you all in advance.

Will,

I don't know if this will answer your question, but the G60x15 was the biggest factory tire available on the '71 GTO. Its size was approximately 26.5 inches tall, and had a tread width of about 9.25 inches.

As far as what can fit on a '71 Goat, I know that my brother ran around with L60x15s on the rear of his '70 GTO, without raising the rear with air shocks or air bags. It was tight, but they didn't rub anywhere!

Thanks Dan for your input. What I should've asked is:

Will 245X60x15 fit on my 1971 GTO? I know the rears will, but will the front?

235 or 245 x 15 work well on the front. 275 x 15 will fit the rear. These are 60 series tires.

Thanks Dave,
that's what I wanted to hear. I
tried putting 245x15x60 on my 69
GTO and they rubbed on the front
so I had to go with 235. Wasn't
sure on the 71 but the wheel wells
do look bigger than my 69.
