'71 GTO, 400, 4 speed, Convertible
This is a GTO that was listed on this site recently and reportedly sold, but I got a second chance offer through eBay, so the deal must have fallen through.
Not my car, but I remember a couple guys chasing this car that might be interested to know that it didn't sell.

Maybe better security measures have changed things on ebay lately but fraudulent second chance offers used to be almost as big of a problem as scammers listing cars for sale they didn't own.

The seller had indicated that money changed hands for the car, so that message may be a scammer. While I believe the end price was way too much, it was nice to see it bring that kind of $$...

eBay changed their policy and no longer shows bidders "eBay names or handles" to the public, so I don't believe it's possible for scammers to identify buyers and send out bogus second chance offers.

The "winner" of the auction has left feedback for the seller. Does not say for sure that they bought the car.
