They look fine with just brushing on the paint but do whatever method you prefer.

The cure instructions by por15 say to heat them above 300° for a short time then let cool to fully cure them. Im sure they can just be ran to full operating temp too but the correct way is a lower temp then to let cool, very easy to do that by just running the engine for a minute or 2 to get them above 300 but not full running temps, then let cool.

For what it's worth, I used some VHT on my manifolds years ago. Took them to work with me and baked them in an industrial oven following the label directions and that paint didn't last any time at all. In fact they started rusting sitting on my paint shop's parking lot for a few weeks in the weather. Completely rust coated now.

Ceracote dry times affect the high temp range. Mine will be at 1086 degrees oF I was told. Between that and the 421 Mods I expect to keep Paint on the 12's...

POR-15 manifold paint after 5 years and 30k miles of daily driver duty in Southern California. Those of you who live in wet or humid climates may have different results than I had.

These were 1967 GTO reproduction manifolds bought new from RARE. I ended up selling these because I wanted to go back to log exhaust manifolds for slightly better ground clearance and less installation hassle, that put money back into my pocket for other things I needed for my car that were more important than a few extra horsepower.

FWIW I ended up going with the the POR-15 manifold gray, after a good sandblasting. The Master Blaster told me it's really important not to handle them post-blast without gloves, the oil on your fingers impacts header paint adhesion / performance he says. But the results have been excellent.
