Default 1967 GTO PARTS CAR – Barn find $3,200

1967 GTO parts car that has been in dry storage since 1991. Car is almost complete. Only things missing are rear tail lights and rear bumper. No title.

Bad things about the car:
Rear quarters, driver door, floor pan, trunk pan and frame are all bad.

Good things about the car:
Car is almost complete. Only things missing are rear bumper, tail lights and some SS wheel well and lower body SS trim.
Has original numbers matching drive train with 400 YS engine, 670 heads, turbo 400 trans with open 8.2 rearend. All pulleys, brackets, p/s pump, etc. are there. Nothing missing.
Front clip is good. Hood is very nice and straight. Lower fenders need patched. Straight bumper.
Vinyl top trim and upper body SS and aluminum exterior trim is in excellent condition.
Interior is complete. All interior trim parts are there.
Very nice console, his/her dual gate Hurst shifter.
Steering wheel is nice.
Passenger door is good.
Trunk lid is good.
Dash is good.
Glass is good.

If it doesn't sell I'm interested in the vinyl top trim, the belt line trim, the steering wheel, and, depending on vent wing frames, maybe those too?

Frankly, for such a complete car I'd rather see you sell it though.

I had a couple inquiries about the date code on the engine. Engine casting # 9786133, date code M156, (Dec. 15, 1966). Also, only one tail light is missing, found the other in the trunk. I am going to attempt to get the engine started this week. It should run.
