4hrs out, hes in russell kansas and rolling this way...man im so excited...ive bought really nice stuff before and havent been as excited as i am on this ole turd....

ive never seen a post gt37, i saw some factory ads and theres a pic of a gold post car and a red post car...but never saw one in person..notice it has black and gold interior? whats up with that? maybe no gold door panels where available? or some kinda weird cloth interior thing? the suspense is killing me..the mirror thing looks added...who know, but ill find out...hopefully the build sheet is still in the car

he sent me pics of the shifter and its a correct 70 hurst 4 speed shifter, so, so far its
350 4 speed, sway bar rear, tilt, maybe tach, remote mirror...that seems like a few good options for a lowly gt37 car.....i got the info filled out for the phs....

well, i got it home and in the garage, bench seat, 4 speed, ralley gauges, probably had a tach, manual drum, manul steer, sway bar on rear, has 1 original stripe and the other is faded, but you can see where it was, i got a 4 speed hurst shifter, a set of splitters and a box of parts..no motor no trans, last had a chevy motor..its Granada Gold, with a gold cloth interior, someone put black panels on the front, has a green sport mirror and it leans way out so its wrong..and wow...and i mean wow what a nice body, needs lower fenders, and just the rear lower 1/4 pieces, and those holes are about the size of a dime...floors, trunk and roof is freakin so nice, i cant believe it, for once, i feel like i got a sreaming deal, and the car is 3 times better than described..for 500 bux and 350 to deliver it from colorado...i am so happy...now...must ...sleep..lol, i will start my own thread and post pics, and get the PHS posted too...im so excited..its sooooo nice, work starts tomorrow!

Great pickup there! Can't wait to see more pics and the resto. You have more patients than me, I'd be out there all night pulling it apart

i had to unload it in a snow/sleet storm, get it off an old dudes trailer, get it on the ground, take off the roller tires he put on it, and put my rollers on it, in a parking lot, in the sleet at 19 degrees..im so tired i cant move..man i remember being tireless when i was n my 30s...if i was 30, id still be there, in the snow, and the front clip would be off by now..lol...plus i was on pins and needles all day..so the stress caught up with me

im just glad its here, and the wait/suspense is over, now i can relax, enjoy it and tear it apart....my girlfriend sat there in the snow with me, and cussed and cussed and cussed...but never left me there by myself, i begged her to sit in my truck....this is a valentines day she'll never forget...man thats funny..i gotta go..someone wants a back rub..i owe it to her...

Have fun with car, rare color (gold) and cloth interior combination in a post 70 GT-37!

The sway bar is original or added? Bench seat hurst original chrome shifter are rare...

MarxJunk you say in this post that car is Granada Gold?
Are you sure about that, looks like Baja Gold 55 to me.
Did you check firewall Tag?
Granada Gold 58 is a dark Tawny Gold where as Baja is a bright gold like you last pics seem to show
Nice score by the way!

Looking at this car and Bill's GT-37 site....were the 70 GT-37 callouts on the fenders decals?
