Default It's Alive

I fired the new combo last night. What a difference a Victor, Dominator, KRE D ports and new cam makes. Sounds like a race engine !!
New combo is,
Victor/9377 dominator, KRE 310 D Ports, U/D Solid 288/296 with 1.65 HS rockers.
462 CI, Doug's, 4000 stall CTC converter, TH400 with TCI brake, Inland Empire 3.5" aluminum driveshaft, 1350 yokes, Strange S case, aluminum daytona pinion support, 3.89 gears, 33 spline moser axles and full spool, QA-1 double adjustable rear shocks, slide a links, rear shock mount cross member, 30" x 10.5" Hoosier radial slicks.
I am hoping less than 2900 lbs race weight.
Test and tune tomorrow night. First race Friday night.
I need to finish the lexan install in the rear and side windows for tomorrow to run. Decaling and clean up for friday night.
Will post pics and times Thursday. Completely new car from last October.

You may need a 300 shot to run low 10's here... Would be cool to hook up some time. When do you expect to finish your project?

I can run a low 10 on a 200 shot at sea level.
I hope soon, I'm trying to save my cash to finish it.
I've basically sold everything I had to sell.
I'm possibly selling my original block that came in the car also.
We'll hook up one day and Run em'.
You should come to Reno for Hot August Nights.

Agreed.
A vid would be good, that way I can figure out how many school bus
lenghts you'll need when we race.

For sure. It's been a ton of work and late nights but nearly there. I can't wait to take a break from this build and just drive it.
I have grill and lights stickers made for the front. They are patterned from the actual 68 grills. I will have them on by next week if I can't get them on tonight.
If anyone else wants a set I can talk to the company who made them for me. They are on a reflective material that comes out awesome at night with a flash.

Fan freakin-tastic, Ron. I'm diggin' your color choice for the car, especially how it's carried over to the cage. Would look slick with some airbrushed grilles and headlights, but it looks slick as it is. Decals are ok, if done right. Sometimes they look weird if they're made to look like the real thing, and not "airbrushed".
