Default Hollywood Trashing Cars

We've all seen this stuff but this is a somewhat entertaining compilation of Hollywood destroying some perfectly good cars.

So was the McQ car really a SD? It doesn't have any decals on it. They really trashed that poor thing.

Not an SD455. I believe they used 3 cars in the movie. All were Y code automatics.

My wife hates watching shows where they beat on a car for no reason except to see if they'll blow (tires/engine).

A PY member owns one of the McQ cars. Unrestored and un-fluffed.
It was probably the only that was still worth anything after the filming.
And it has a fair share of bumps and bruises , iirc.

That car might pull as much - or probably even more - unrestored with the bumps & bruises from the film - than it would restored.
(just my guess, fwiw)

iirc it is still wearing the same license plate as it was in the movie ?
Very Cool Car to have

Bumps and bruises from the film are the least of it’s problems. One plate is in the trunk and the other is in the shop.
