The new owner told me he purchased the car from someone in Long Island. He changed the 4.33 to a 3.55. He said 3,600 RPM at 60mph is not good. He is also changing the bias ply tires to redline radials.

Very nice car.

Not familiar with the GTO, is it a RA2 car or did Royal put a 428 in it?

It was built into a RAII by Paul Menin from MA.

I'd like to know too. I'm a Smokey & The Bandit fanatic, took the pix and the car is mine and still don't know.

I must live in a cave. LOL.

BAN ONE was already taken. Closest I could get is what is on the plate.

That movie clip really messed up the sound of the engine. Sounds like they changed the original sound.

Very nice car.
I can relate to that 3600 rpm at 60 mph. Great for driving around on city streets, bad for the freeways, (if you don't want to get run over by the Buses, Trucks, and everyone running 75-80 mph).

Yeah that’s a nice car Paul always did nice cars. His body guy was in NY did a few of my drag race friends cars they were straight as an arrow and not a sand scratch or imperfection. Anywhere .
Real RAII or not you couldn’t restore it for that price today.

Wonder who had it in New hartford that’s my neighborhood and didn’t even know paul had sold it here.
