Default Congrats to Scott Rex

Congrats to Scott for winning the RAM Racing Series-Pro NA class @ Cecil County Dragway today! Scott was the #1 qualifier and set the new ET record of 7.71. It was an all pontiac powered final as Scott and Jack Gaydosh battled it out. Scott took the win with a 7.84, to Jack's 7.94. (If I remembered correctly). I also believe that Jack took command of the points lead in the Pro Na class! Congrats to both!!!

PONTIAC POWER!!!

In my wildest dreams, I would of never dreamed that the final would be Scott and Jack. I hope that the Tiger Heads Frank and I build can give as much fun to the average bracket racer as Scott and Jack have had. Thats our goal!

You make us both proud of your wins. Great Job guys.

I hope to see you all soon at Norwalk.

Thanks guys.

A long hot day, but it ended well.

2700 ft DA
2505lbs

Real soft tuneup as to not "outpace" the class.....too much. I'm still learning this heads up racing, never tried to make a race car slower

But I'll let her rip at Norwalk. Still need more gear and have some Wilson shear plates to try.

John Langer and Jeff Kinsler both had a good showing with Pontiac power.

Thanks go out to Jack Gaydosh, Bob and Frank from Allpontiac and the guys from Rhodes Custom Auto.

We do it again on Sept 24 @ US 13 in Delaware.

If you go to RAM's web-site: http://www.ramracing.us you will find the rules for each class on the right side of the main page. I believe Henry was unable to make it back today for the eliminations. But, don't worry...he didn't have anything for the Rex or Gaydosh! Congrats as well to John and Jeff. John went out in the semi's and Jeff went out in the 2nd round due to major tire shake. It def. was a good day for Pontiac Power and the Rhodes Custom Auto camp!

Congrads to Scott and Jack. The more times this happens with Pontiacs ruling the roost, the more the chevy boys will cry. That's always a fun day. What, your bbc couldn't keep up with an inline valve engine? ahhhh, gee, guess your chevy engine guy just talked you into the wrong engine for your Pontiac.

I will never forget the day I met Jack Gaydosh at Norwalk a few years ago. He did not know me from Adam. I was just another racer looking at his car.

I was leaning on the fence at the staging lane next to his car. He was talking to me about selling his IA I motor because he felt that he no longer could be competitive with the Pontiac motor because there were no vendors making race parts that would allow him to make the power he needed to win. He was done with Pontiacs. It was that year Frank and I started AllPontiac. For us, helping Scott and Jack win and be competitive is a reward to us that no amount of money can buy.

We enjoy making the best race parts that can be made for Pontiacs, is our goal.

I hope every one gets a chance to win like them. In the end we all win.

Congrats to Jack & Scott. Jeff and John's cars are awsome to... I couldn't stay as I had the OPDS race at the Beaver.
Believe me Jack you were better off staying at Cecil than coming to the Beaver. In more than one way...
It may have been hot at Cecil but at least it sounds like the track didn't go away in the heat as it did at the Beaver...My 1.5 sixty foot times went to 1.89 at one point.
I had my best ever times (11.46) at Cecil before the rains came and the worst times at The Beaver !!

I can't wait till Norwalk and retrurn to Cecil on 9/16

Met Jack gaydosh for the first time on Saturday at Cecil County, was dropping off my motor with him and thought it would be nice to watch some races at a different track. As my luck would have it, it rained from the time I got there till the Cecil called it around 2:00pm.

Jack had his hands full with the rain, RAM meetings, tuning the car, so I just stayed out of his way. Wish I could have seen him and the other Pontiacs run.

Congrats to Scott, Jack and the rest of the Pontiac gang for putting fear in those other cars. Pontiacs will rule the track someday, it is only a matter of time.

Mark
