Mr. Winkles.
I'm glad he has been able to find some free time to post here. He's probably been very busy with getting the new Viper into production. I had the pleasure of working with both new cars at the New York auto show.

Probably not.
First talked about in post 3232, bid to $60,099, reserve not met ($95,000 BIN). Listed again, bid to $74,999, still reserve not met ($93,000 BIN). Strange, guy only bids $20,000 first time, high bid second time, no bids this time. Other high guy has bid all auctions. Funny, he's listed 2V87X4N111465 as VIN this time. |

Yes, and no. It's a Formula, so it should be a U, as listed in the first two auctions. This time it's listed as a V, or Trans Am. The rest of letters/numbers in VIN are the same.

Didn't look at that. Just looked at X and the 6 digits of VIN.

Brew- it will be worth the wait! It is a great article. The author does a good job of tryng to convey how detailed the restoration was, but it just doesn't compre to seeing your car in person. It really is a work of art.

I know, I know, I cant wait to see it!
Thanks for all the nice comments on the article. The original story was longer and had more information on both cars (twinns). Thats when it was a cover story and had much more detail. Not sure why Tom saw to change it up the last review but its a cool thing to get the cars in know matter what form. I'll be in Iron Mountain today and will be hitting a book story since I need a few extra copies any who. Cheers guys and thanks again, Brewster |
