68 GTO dealer (242 car) auto in Indiana at $30K BIN with 78K. That's cheap for a black car. A stock air cleaner and shifter would do wonders for it.

67 Firebird in NC at $6K BIN. Car has been rode hard and put up wet and isn't worth the asking price IMO. But, if you were restoring a car that was missing a lot of parts and lived near this one it may be worth checking out, just to make an offer on it. Cars like this are money pits and I would want anything to do with it. If it was a super rare 400, maybe... it's not.

66 Lemans stick car in OK at $4.9K NR. Needs mechanical work, but worth more than $5K IMO. Originally a 326 HO.

That 67 for 6k is about the worst I’ve seen for rust. I wouldn’t touch it either and I don’t mind rust. Every body panel is shot. Maybe the glass is good.

2002 Firebird convertible w 177K miles at $6.9K in Indiana. Claims to be 1 of 24 in Sunset Orange. Nice looking car and I dig that color.

Let's just say you're driving through town about 30 MPH and the car on the opposing side is the one below. I would do a double-take and it would be gone before I figured out if it was real or not... basically because it looks different. Anyway, 88 Fiero in CA at $14K BIN. On the inside it looks like a chrome Ferrari emblem on the seats. Every time you sit down, your back is up against it. I mean, for $14K it may actually be fun to own this car.

Agree that is an interesting and unique car that's probably a lot of fun for $14K. It is humiliating to see how much car you might be able to buy for $14K when I have spent thousands on a value-less beater. But we all know that, merchants love me, and I must think the hobby rewards are priceless.

This car is in South Carolina. It's a classic used car outfit that sells tired old cars and projects. Every once in a while they have something decent but most of the inventory is like this pitiful Firebird.

1965 convertible black/red GTO tribute 389 tri-power 4-speed with AC in CA at $9.9K NR. Nice looking car. I'm kind of changing my mind on tribute cars and liking them more. You can do whatever you want without doing something that isn't original. If you're lucky enough to have a numbers matching survivor, awesome. But, if you're like most of us and have a drive train that doesn't match, what is the cost delta between that car and a tribute? If the cost delta based on ROI dictates the tribute is worth more (I'm not saying it is for every car), wouldn't it then be a better investment? This car would be a hoot to drive.

Solid example of a "Tribute" that isn't a tribute at BIN $85K in (? smells fishy). 70 GTO Judge tribute based on a 242 GTO. It's not a Judge, but is a GTO. Just my opinion, but the 70 GTO wings are the dumbest. I had a 455 GTO 4-speed white/red when I was 16, so I love 70's. But unless it's a real Judge, IMO it devalues the car by having the tribute aspect mixed in... cornfusing. Makes me wonder how this car left the factory?

1960 Pontiac Catalina bubble top 4 speed car in NY with 8 lugs at $30K BIN. Something you don't see every day... ok, ever.

1954 Pontiac Star Chief in NY at $15K BIN. Story goes the engine was rebuilt and the car was parked a long time ago. Cars like this pop up from time to time and typically the family just wants to get rid of it. I personally wouldn't want this car, but if I had a business where I could put the name on the doors and park it out front, it would get attention. Check out the rear window vent... I've not seen that before.

A LOT of miles for a special car like this. Surprised it was parked long enough to take the pics.

69 Firebird in NH at $67K. Frame off restoration looks like quality work. Not the direction I would have gone, but I do appreciate the amount of work that went into it. It does have a Pontiac engine.
