I love really bad, BAD 1970s movies.

If you have Amazon Prime, check out "Steel Arena" from 1973.

There is a white 59 Bonneville with a lot of screen time.

Just came across Night of the Living Dead. Opening with a '67 LeMans!
Forget everybody died in the end.

Steel Arena is truly a one of a kind film. It is the only film I can recall seeing where all of the actors do their own stunts and these are truly death-defying stunts! Dusty Russell, Buddy Love, they're all great! The film is about Dusty a great stunt driver taking a job with the Circus of Death along with his friend Buddy Love. Crash (another stunt performer) gets jealous and tries to undermine Dusty in his stunts. The movie has an open-end where Dusty tries to break a world record by diving 100 feet in his car! You should try to rent it if you want to find out what happens. This movie is a masterpiece.

Am still looking fo r a CD or DVD of the original Gone In 60 Seconds with the original soundtrack. Is easy to tell, opens with road noise & am radio and not just a strumming bass in dead air.

Man, they destroyed a bunch of cars in that movie. The list was looking like the Blues Brothers for a minute, which kept Chrysler in business for a couple years!!!

I never noticed it before but the Internet Movie Cars Database has a Pontiac theme in their banner.

Check out the Trent Harmon "There's a Girl" music video. He's driving a red '65 GTO with Cragars. Saw it on TV in a Texas Roadhouse last night.

I love bad 1950's-'70's movies too. Can't get enough of them. Just watched The Choppers from 1961 with Arch Hall Jr., and Moonfire, from 1970 with Charles Napier and Sonny Liston.
