Cool pics Steve!

The tires are finally broken in and are getting traction. Peeled off a personal best of 13.64 yesterday and backed it up with a 13.62 with a 201-60. Need to change/adjust the governor to get the shifting up to 4,800 or 5,000 which should help out too.

goatmanmitch also located a set of perfectly dated KU wheels for me off craigslist and picked them up for $60.

Agreed, not too shabby if it still has the highway gears. Sounds like a gear swap and getting the shift points spot on will be worth a good amount in the name of quicker ET's.

Had a great time at Englishtown on Sunday backed up by a near perfect day at LVD yesterday. Rain delays at LVD sent the FAST guys packing to Englishtown who were more than happy to include us in their festivities. Unfortunately a 40 MPH cross wind cut us down to 1/8th mile only.

Had several great runs & was able to beat a 71 Pure Stock Hemi Superbee! I've got some amazing GoPro video I need to upload on Youtube from a very unique perspective but don't have the time now to do it.....the screen capture will give you an tease!

Yesterday out of 5 total runs I had a 13.37, 13.40 & 13.38 all in the 102 mph area and then two with tire spin & governor issues. Not a bad day.

I only got him John because it was 1/8th mile - he had almost caught me by the line.

that's a nice bracket car, with those three numbers.

so, you leave it in drive and let it shift for itself?

got a video going against the '69 charger 500? something went wrong when it hit high gear.

wait a minute, i think i see myself in the stands

Matt, I assume you were at LVD on Monday. You must've seen my car having issues. It was running great on Sunday at Englishtown, but not to leave well enough alone I messed with it before the first run on Monday at LVD and it didn't like it at all!

I've got tons of video Matt, loading up the Superbee one now, should be live in a few minutes. Here's where the video will be shortly.....http://youtu.be/GrIjPWkpfH0

Yes, I leave it in drive going down the track and have been playing with the weights & springs in the governor to get the right shift points, but I was way off on that run. I left the line fine but went well over 5000 and finally had to lift to get it to shift, then in 2nd you can hear a noise in the video that I have no idea what it was, but the trip was not a pleasant one! Swapped the governor again and got those three close times on the next three runs shifting at 4500 & 4800.

I'll load up that video tomorrow for diagnostics - it's in car & you can hear the noise!
