tire,wheel question
I have a 68 firebird, will a set of 8 in snowflake rims fit? what size tires would work best? thanks for any input.

I have some on my 68
its very tight with 245s on front(235 is better) 275s fit rear posted a pic of my custom caps a few yrs ago Ill see if I can dig it up

Caps look cool.
Just for clarification to the OP, though... the pictured snowflake is the 7" variety, though -- not 8".

I have seen 8' snowflakes on 1st gen,you can't really fit a big tire on the front.Are you wanting to go with the same size tire all the way around? Cammer6,those are some good looking caps.

I was hoping to put 235-60-15 front and rear.I noticed cammer6 had 7in rims in his pic.I do love the custom center caps,I wish i could replicate those 1st gen bird centers.I have plenty of 14 in mags to use.

I just bought 4 tires rims,trim rings, and center caps. The guy told me they are from a 1968 Firebird. They are 14" Rally II's and look to be 7" wide. Does anyone know if these wheels came on a 1968 Firebird? They are 5X 4 3/4. I would have thought they would be 5x 4 1/2 as is on the A body Gto or Tempest!
