brake upgrades on 62 tempest
Is there a way to put disk brakes on a 62 tempest,it has an odd lug bolt pattern.I think a ford ranger wheel will fit.I at least need 2 new front wheel cylinders any help will be greatly appreciated. willie grant

http://www.scarebird.com/ Check out this guy. His disc brake conversion for the 61-63 tempests is about the lowest priced available and it uses OEM parts that can be found in any parts store or salvage yard. Also do a search on the 61-63 tempest thread, there is all kinds of discussion about it.

I upgraded to front discs on my 63, one of the best improvements ever! Scarebird's parts fit great!!
