Default 134 retrofit question

Ihave about a half of a 30 pound tank of 134. how will i fill a 1979 trans am ac system properly? It takes approx 80% of the amount that r12 was. can I fill it using low and high pressure readings.What would be te numbers?

You can get pretty close by adding for hi & low pressures, but weighing your tank on a scale before & after is even better. It's a whole lot easier to weigh a tank than a 12 oz can...

If you know you added what should be really close to the spec'd weight of refrigerant then you can more easily diagnose other issues if they come up without wondering if you put in too much or too little.
