Gave here a quick wash - then went for a blast into town to vacuum out the carpets. Realized when I was on the phone with Gary after dinner that I hadn't checked to see if she had a peg leg or not - so he got to go for the ride with me.

She ain't no cripple!!!

yea baby, i got to have phone sex with boss and his new HO. he laid the phone down in the seat and i got to hear her squeal and scream. she squealed for a long time on the first thrust and then alot of screaming after that with a nice squeal on every thrust after. she sure sounds like a nasty little HO. (but she sure is pretty)

I'll do a ride-along some time this week BJ, have to figure out a mounting point inside the convertible top someplace - although she sure sounds sweet with the top down!

Were you nervous during the unload? I remember mine - great big driver, 'bout 275 lbs, had to climb in throught the driver side window. I was thinking: If you tear something up pal, you are limping away from here!

Really nice looking car - you will surely enjoy riding with the top down!

Julian was a great driver - stayed in touch with me every day letting me know where he was and how things were going, loaded the extra parts in his truck - not in the car so nothing would damage the interior or bounce around in the trunk. Just an all around great experience with this move!

The truck was long Gary, that's just the 2nd half of the video! The way the racks on this type work, there are two beams in front/back of the tire that lift the car - he had to go over another pair and across the gap between the truck & trailer to get it out. Not something I would have wanted to try.

(Oh yea, thanks for coming along for the ride!)

Gary, next trip out west, I'll pick you up and teach you all about loading and unloading these big ass trailers. I'll have you backing out of them just using the side mirrors.....that really freaks the customers out when you don't stick your head out of the window when backing up. Plus you'll get to experience the thrill of a liftgate. Much more fun than a ramp trailer.

thanks do you drive the rigs??, i have had lots of them unloaded and especially loaded since i have been selling off a bunch of my cars in the last few years. it is funny how nervous some of the drivers are and others act like they couldnt give a crap if they crashed it. like the azz that kept an SD of mine over the weekend instead of coming on to my house and delivering it on a friday like he was supposed to and he unloaded it at a friends house in kansas and they took it out thrashing it and ended up breaking the 4 speed trans in it. i had another guy one time who forgot to or just didnt get it in gear on the lift gate and when the gate hit the ground the car rolled off of it. he turned a pale shade when that happened.

i should mention that i am not cutting the driver down, it would totally be justified to rub one off in her.

Talking

I am a complete loss for words, Chris.

Brian finds this car, lets you know about it, then does all the legwork and even makes a deposit for you, yet you hire another carrier to bring the car?

For shame, for shame . . .
