Default 68 bird out of Bob Maxey’s shop years ago

Picked up a 68 street strip car built back in the later 80s. Family owned for over 30 years. One of Bobs employees built the car there. Thought I would share it.

Nice. I spoke to Bob once by phone. Besides Pontiacs we had other things in common.

It's a very solid car put together with good parts. The engine is fresh but has been sitting a few years. Going to pull the heads and inspect. Reassemble then enjoy.

Very nice, but I would add some loops in those brake lines otherwise vibrations between the body and frame will crack them eventually.

The intake is a modified street dominator. Has a angle cut spacer welded on top . Heat crossover cut off and a fair amount of runner work done. Came with the car as well as a rpm intake. The previous owner said the dominator would out mph the prm.by about 2 but no real et difference. I added the speed master head's and a hydrolic roller cam.
