Default Mecum, Indy - 66 Survivor

Coming soon.

This car is Sick! Loaded with options.

Triple Black, Tri-Power, 4 spd., 35,000+ miles, Survivor.

What’s your guess on the “price” of this unrestored GTO.

Anyone know of this car?

Chris.

You've seen that car before Chris. You probably have 236 pictures of it.

Rob,

I’ve only seen just a couple photos of this 66 in the past and they were poor quality.

The photos and presentation are superior quality for this upcoming auction.

Red line tires made a big difference. You can see the resonators which all 66 GTOs came with.

I think the 66 Tri-Power “steel” fuel lines with the wrap around line from block to filter are the coolest.

Looks like a 03B PON build. Love this car.

Chris.

Very nice car. My guess on price is 80k on up. What a time capsule!! Still like the red interior of your '66 better than any other '66 I've seen, though, Chris!! It looks like the inside of a jewel box.

It's too bad that the person that fixed it up to resell changed out all the original hoses. They were in great condition and original to the car. It also appears they added a Gardner exhaust which it needed since the original owner had put glasspacks on it.

Anyone have an idea what the plaque on the dash is about or what it written on it?

Sorry for the blurry photo. Looks like it was built Expressly for the Original owner.

It’s had 33 miles put on it since coming out of the garage a few years back till today.

Check out the PB SWAN Vacuum hose. You don’t see that printing last very long.

Someone did a nice clean up on this Survivor.

Chris.

I suspect these may have been readily available, either at malls and/or trophy shops?

And I found a similar (albeit more generic) plate under the seat in one of my previous cars.

242177P,

Very nice example from the Buick class.

The Doctor must have known Violet liked Riviera’s.

Regards, Boris.

Don't forget the buyer fee's of 10% - 12% plus the sales tax with of course no wiggle room there.

That will add on roughly $20,000. (and that is as scary as Frankenstein in itself)

Does the console have wood grain? The one photo showing the plaque, or is it a reflection

Love this GTO! Rally Gauges and Rally I's would make it perfect in my book. Wish I could afford it!

So many people complained that this car wasn't original when I first posted it a couple years ago but with pretty pictures it's very collectible.

Bout time you surfaced!

Back in the day, people would add wood veneer to consoles and the horn bar on a 66.

Chris
