What Color is my engine block
I ordered some paint to do some touch-ups on my engine (1970) and it is pretty obvious that it was painted the wrong color.
Rather they try to do a color change I'm just going to stick with the color it is now. The question is, what year paint do I need? http://www.pontiacpower.org/enginecolor.htm Is it from a 1977-1982? |

Looks to me like 64-65 Ponitac blue? Not enough green in it for 71-73.

My bet would be the VHT SP122, as Tripower says not enough green in it.
It is the one to the left |

Looks like GM corporate blue to me. Plus it's the only GM engine blue in the rattle can on the auto parts shelf. I used it because I didn't care.

We are comparing pictures on the internet. The camera flash, or lack of, will change how colors look also. I just know that the cans I bought said GM Corporate blue and it looks very much like your first posted picture, and nothing like that second picture. You could pick up a can cheap at the parts store and compare it in person though.
