I have a 71 got that I am pretty sure has its original T-3 headlamps, I'm not sure what your looking for though, are you looking for some number on the lamp that would determine if it is not a repo? If thats possible, I know on some of the older single headlight cars people have told me that the replacements where very slightly different, some people would try to track down an original NOS light to make the car 100% show. Or, are you just looking for the number that would be used maybe to order new lights?

My 1971 GT-37 has three T-3 headlights. I would imagine those were original to the car since back then I believe the T-3s were only available from GM.

I'm sure the car would have been born with T-3 headlamps, as far as the different numbers for high beam and low,I don't know if there are different numbers from different aftermarket suppliers or if they use a general number but I think they do repo the T-3 now. you should probably look at a bunch of headlamps on Ebay and it should be easy to figure out, T-3,,, Sylvania halogens,,repos, they should all be on there

Have been on Ebay. The problem is that it can be T3 4014 or 5001, in other words T3 and following number, that is why I wonder if it is T3 and number 4001 + 4014 ?
And I will only buy AC delco lamps

just looked at some of my old lights, , Guide T-3 low beam is in fact 4001.
Aftermarket sylvania low beam is H5001, hence the different numbers used by different manufacturers I thought so, so maybe you are right about the other high beam # you have for T-3,

I bought headlights from AutoZone. The prongs aren't long enough to plug them in, so I had to cut the surround thingy off the plug. I normally wouldn't have, but one was already cut.
