Default Rally 1

Was it possible to get Rally One’s on A 68 GTO from the factory? I always thought early 67s were the last they were available.

i thought early 68s could get the Rally Is, whereas the Rally IIs were across the whole 68 production.

Fun fact: i had a 68 big car with Rally IIs on 5" pattern, front and rear. And that meant Half-Inch Rally Lugnuts for the Half-Inch Studs.

68 was last year for Rally I wheels on GTO. Also available on the Lemans and Tempest.

Both Rally 1 & 2 wheels were available in 68.

Rallye I and Ralley II wheels are both shown in the 1968 accessorizer brochure: http://oldcarbrochures.org/United%20...let/index.html

PHS docs. Indicate my meridian turquoise 68 had rally 1s (with redlines) from the factory.

My 1968 GTO ( 400 2bbl with a Dearborn M-13) had the rally 1's when new, and redlines.
I think my car was whats called a "floor plan price point car, as it had few options.
