Lugnut Question
On my '70 GP, were the lugnuts solid chrome or the painted top type?

Coolness. The ones on the car are chrome, but I like the painted top better. This car has red centers on the wheels, so I'm assuming its a late build date.

Black centered rally II lug nuts would be correct. The centers wre stamped out of a black plastic material & inserted into the face of the lugnut.
"Tall cap" stainless capped lugnuts began being used on '71 model Pontiac A-F-G-X series with rallyII's & were used through the '72 model.
