Hey Jeff, you're not in the finals, per the RAM board...remember

John,

Congrats on your numbers! How does our Uncle Tony do it...I mean he's not a pontiac guru or nothin'? LOL! Can you bring that cross-member to Cecil?

remind me the day or so before the race so i can put it in my trailer. Imagine how much power he could make if he specialized in Pontiacs.

ok...I'll do that.

I know it's scary what he could do if he concentrated all of his efforts to pontiacs.

If he started just concentrating on Pontiac then his powered levels will start going down. If you get tunnel vision like alot of the Pontiacs guys have then you dont see what the other brands are doing to increase their hp levels.

i think what he means is how often do you have to adjust the valves (after every pass i would guess), have the heads off for new gaskets, etc.

I check the valves every pass as preventative maintenance. I would rather prevent a problem then discover one. New head gaskets every 25-30 passes.

This "Uncle Tony" sounds like the guy I wish I had build my motor - live and learn. Anyhow, FWIW from a relative newcomer: very nice indeed, congrats. Mark.

bad69bird - the link didn't come up for some reason so please post it again if possible. Paul Spotts is another guy I should have called but now I'm just gathering info for the next time - there's always a next time. Thanks, Mark.
