(as done here) The high ports have larger intake ports which requires matching to the intake. Most stock type intakes will need work. Hopefully the OP does not have a flat hood!

I think I mocked up HP vs stock heads and an intake sat at least 1" taller.

I have a 1000cfm Throttle body which is a smaller height than a carb. I had a huge air filter before so even if I had to lose 1" it wouldn't be a big loss for us EFI guys.
Looks like the Super Victor EFI might've been a better option and then I get new fuel rails. Well, that's why I'm in here, there's options to plan around beforehand, not get stuck in real time (though my machine shop did make the best out of this situation). The SuperVictor probably would've helped with your problem. I had to mill .060 off for port alignment on mine, Edelbrock not wide ports.

Dang that one has gone up since I bought them for future use! I have a EFI T@ I had SD CNC for me too for possible use.
