1971 Grand Prix Model J
Thought I would post this in here if anyone is interested. This car is not mine and I have no connection to the owner in any way. Actually I do not know who even owns it.
The guy who painted my '66 GTO has this car at his shop (also does repairs, detailing, exhaust, etc). I stopped by today (after a storm and the power was out, so lights were out). This car looks really nice. I just thought I would share if anyone is looking for a super nice '71 GP. The car looks as nice in person as the photos suggest. The interior is absolutely perfect from what I can see. It looks as if it is brand new. The rest of the car is really nice. I was told it is original paint. I couldn't tell for certain (looks to be true), but when the power is back on I will gladly look closer at it in more detail if anyone is interested. The only thing I didn't care for is that it has red pinstripe tape on it and whitewall tires - both easily fixed. These are just personal preferences. I would be interested in this car if I had some $$ to spend. I don't, so I can't buy it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ponti...item1c15a6b4d4 The reserve is higher than what I was told today. Again - I did not meet the owner, so I don't know the whole story. I can get more info if needed. I did not post in the classifieds because I am not the owner and don't know all of the details of this car. I just thought I could help out a fellow PYer if they are interested.
