You will need a good mastercylinder with a 1" bore for manual brakes. Remove the booster and bolt the manual MC directly to the firewall. You will need to move the brake rod at the brake pedal to the hole closer to the pivot point. If no hole, you can search for proper place to drill pedal or find a pedal with both holes. Not sure if you will need an adjustable rod to replace your original. Someone with more experience should chime in. Some folks here say their manual brakes are close to feel of power when set up properly.

My '79 Camaro I moved the rod up to the hole where brake light switch bracket was bolted and used a clevis and adjustable rod for the MC. One thing I noticed was the power booster rod is jut bolted on one side of the pedal a clevis centers it on the pedal and that puts it at an angle to the MC. I cut off on arm of the clevis and bolted it to the pedal offset so it lined up better.

I used a smaller Strange Mopar style MC 1.032" I think have a a Wilwood Dynalite kit on the front and the metric GM caliper and TA rear discs n the rear. Pedal ia a little hard, have not driven it except off and on the trailer as project not finished.

From rockauto for a 74 manual brake firebird 1" bore : ACDELCO Part # 18M1045 More Info {#19106831} Professional Durastop
Manual Brakes - $102.79 . I know a few 1st gen camaro guys that prefer a 7/8 bore such as the billit unit willwood sells, but a master from a 78 manual brake vega would do the trick but might benefit from an adjustable prop valve. I run a 1" master & prop valve from a 70 vette on my c10 truck and it works great. Factory manual setup and lines will obviously be the easiest route.

I am running a Mopar truck master (1-1/8") in the lower hole - it requires a good shove to slow; the 24mm minivan master may make a better fit. You will need to widen the hole spacing for it to work. These masters are aluminum and plastic - very light.

So let me get this straight, all I have to do it chunk the booster and master cylinder thats on the car and buy a wilwood master cylinder and adjustable proportioning valve and mount and install it and done deal and my brakes will work, with disc in front and drums in rear no problem, I want wilwood or areospace preferably

That's about it assuming you have the the correct pedal ratio and and factor in some brake line surgery for the wilwood equipment. Stock would be a real breeze with prefab lines and your proportioning valve for disc/drum is the same whether it's power or not.

Nothing real major. As Scarebird said a Mopar style needssome "massaging" to fit the bolt pattern. Use the top two studs from the booster.

I've heard of some guys having issues with the new aluminum Wilwood MCs(not their Mopar style)

I have a classic performance products master and love it. Feels like I have power brakes. Here is a link! It's cheap too, proportioning valve built in.
