as far as instalation ,when you lay the scrapper on the block and aply silicone (of your choice)make sure you leave it alone for a good 24hours overnight without touching it ,otherwise they have tendencies to leak if you move them around while it not hard yet....

how far do you install the scrapper away from the crank? .050? .100?
and do you need a spacer the same thickness on the other side to get the pan to lay flat? Thanks for your replys! |

We sell em. You need around .020 for them to be effective.
You will have to trim ours to work. Most just make the Generic ones. LOL. You know, one size fits all.  I use just a gasket on the opposite side, plus front and rear, and Gray Ultra Seal on both sides of the scraper to block and pan. |

Thanks, it's been "rotating " happily for 2yrs. now.Its almost daily driven. The car runs 12's on real street tires at 106.58 @ 4,000lbs. on the motor. Steve bird driven to Mount St. Helens

KS,
I saw pics of the your Pontiac...Rodney Red post.(I run a RR radiator too) Anyway, how much NOS are you putting to it? Looks like a Qjet plate set-up??? Thought about small shot..more for the look(yeah right)in my car. You retard the timing with MSD when on the gas? safety switch to shut down the NOS if no fuel is getting to the plate? |
