YellaTerra did a comparison test of 8 aluminium roller rockers: YellaTerra, StreetTerra, Crane Gold, Crane Hi Intensity, Lunati, Erson, Scorpion, Speed Master.
According to the test:
Only YT used extruded
aircraft quality non anodized surface.
Only YT & ST used oversize trunnions.
Only YT & ST had bearing journals ground. All others were turned.
All had satisfactory roller bore precision finish except for Scorpion & SM.
all had satisfactory pushrod cup finish except for the Scorpion.
Only YT has a 12 month warranty INCLUDING racing.
All had effective ratios to within 0.02 except for the SM which measured 1.57 versus 1.50 published.
the Scorpion had the highest static nose weight of 22 grams. The Crane Gold was lightest at 12.2 grams, then the Lunati 13.5 & then the YT at 14.1 grams.
Scorpion had the largest roller contact patch on valve tip @ 0.115". The YT had the lowest @ 0.066".
In the deflection test, the ST was best @ 0.015"; then the Crane HI Int & the YT @ 0.017"; then the Erson & Scorpion @ 0.018"; worst was the SM @ 0.026".
In the breakage test, the YT was best @ 6.5 tons; next best was Crane Gold & Lunati @ 5.25 tons; then Scorpion @ 5.00 tons. Worst was
SM @ 2.75 tons.
I have also read that anodizing aluminium weakens the stucture
& that is why the YT's are not anodized.
These figures were published 3 years ago.
The YT & ST are Australian made & if in the unlikely event a YT breaks, it is replaced no questions asked.

Ken Brewer at Pacific Performance Racing carries the Yella Terra rockers.

Also when my pushrod collapse and blocked the oil squirt hole up the pushrod, lack of oil to the rocker in the cup had welded the pushrod to the cup.

YT is the only company that i've seen over in Australia that will sell you *1* individual rocker at a time, instead of a whole set at a time.
