I decided track down where the hole/holes were in my factory 1/4" Return line and just about all of it in the rear wheel well was rusted out (still doesn't explain why it wouldn't be leaking). I cut the line right before the rear wheels and started it to see if gas came pouring out, which it did. I then put new rubber hose from it to the tank. So, 6psi at the carb and a functional return line. We'll see if this works.

To the guys that mentioned the alternator orientation, is there a way to clock it with the connections upright?
