How do you guys measure the tubes, idle bleeds and orifices of a Q-jet?
I have 3 quadrajets that I would like to extensively build, but I need to know the I.D.s of all of the various tubes, air bleeds, idle and orifices with in the carbs to get the proper parts/combination. What tools do yall use to measure these

I said pin drills. I use the drills to modify the holes, but I use pin gauges (as mentioned above) to measure them.

All of the above
And...a few of the folding pak torch tip cleaners. The files are in drill size and the starter tip is slightly smaller. Really handy to clean and ream down tubes, without pulling, if they don't need opened up a bunch.

Snap on Tool makes a good set of carburetor numbered drills. I am not a Snap on Tool dealer! If you want accurate numbered drills expect to pay. I have the Harbor Freight set and drill measurements are off by up to .007" depending on the diameters measured with a caliper. Do as your budget dictates.
