i have a 1969/70 intake & it weighed 40lb, when it came back from SD doing their max cnc plenum & port package it weighed 36 maybe 36.5. so they ported out almost 4 lbs of metal!

Both weighed on a digital scale we use at work for UPS and FedEx shipping.

sadly not any good ones. i got pics of every other aspect of the car/engine build but no detailed pics of the inatke. i think there was a thread recently with some good pics of SD's intake porting work.

Interesting that you have two supposedly identical, same year intakes with a 3 lb weight difference.
Any obvious differences that you can see between the two that's not apparent in the photos? |

Given date codes and casting numbers, shouldn't this one and the other be 1968 versions?
