i run their GT full front/rear spring kit on a 72 firebird as well as upper A arms with greasable bushings, subframe connectors & have teh G braces but havent added them yet. my car is more of a 3 in 1 build, mostly street but light duty auto x & drag strp use. very happy with PTFB stuff & dave knows these cars & will give great advice.

I'm with Blueghoast, very nice 78w72. I love the way these cars handle even with the factory stuff. Imagine the look on someones face when your 40+ year-old Pontiac can corner with their new vette.

Never heard anything bad about PTFB and will likely go that route myself. Just curious, what motor mounts are those?

thanks for the compliment. PTFB has very nice parts, as good or better than some of the bigger names but priced much better.

the mounts are just stock early style mounts before they changed to the later clam shell mounts. the early ones are much weaker than the later ones, i made my own improved version of a mity mount that has lasted for many years behind a 500+hp stroker engine on the street & dragstrip with drag radials running low 11's. added a limiter chain after a year or 2 for added safety/strength though.

If your so correct ,why are so concerned with which video.?search youtube for 2nd gen f body. All the gm cars front end design are similar.Actually the load bearing and placement of the bj should be all typical.Personally I think it should go on bottom for that reason .I have mine on top like you.

not concerned with which video, was asking because i have never seen any 2nd gen with the bj on the bottom of the control arm in any pic or vid... but since you seemed so sure there are vids showing this i just asked you to post one.

not a big deal though, top mount is correct
