I'm interested in a 2-row 1.25 for a 69 Bird with manual trans. As long as it's a direct fit with no shroud modifications then count me in.

count me in, tentatively, for a 2 row 1" tubes, in a 69 A-body(GTO), auto trans and factory AC. as stated above, as long as it's a drop-in and go with no mods to the core support or fan shroud.....

I'll take one of those. '65 Lemans, HD/AC with AT. I'll be able to speak to someone for exact details?

HO428:
Yes, will have correct FB style mounting brackets on it and will have formed style tanks

Skipfix:
No, that radiator would not be included in this program.

Stucky2947:
Yes, would have finished radiator looking close to stock.
Yes, you can use your facotry fan shroud on it.
No issue painting the radiator black.
Yes, radiator will come with brackets.

BrockB455:
Yes, radiator will match your stock unit in all respects (height, width(s), etc).
Yes, on correct overflow and outlets but not sure what you mean on the hose clamps.
The radiator will NOT come with any type hose clamps.

Default 73 Trans Am, no AC, Auto

I looked up my radiator code (that needs the re-core). It is NOT the original radiator for my car. So, COUNT ME IN!

When will we know if this deal is a go?

i THINK what he's asking about are the clamps that hold the overflow tube to the tank. this is the deal where the tube comes off of the filler neck and runs vertically down the tank and dumps overflow on the ground. the clamps are either welded on the tank or slip in and are a friction fit.

although, his car is a 73, and i'm pretty sure that year had an actual overflow tank as opposed to simply dumping the coolant.

Leftyarmstrong:

Yes, you'll speak directly to our tech guys when you place the actual order.

Brockb455:

I'll continually post the number of orders/commitments each week. Once we get the 30 radiator commitment I'll PM each of you with the Purchase Order reference to use.

Anyone on this board that's also on Chevelles.com, or any other forum, that might be able to get this group purchase on those forums?

We're about halfway there with 14 radiators committed.

We're still 40% there with 12 radiators committed to ........................ 18 more to go.

Reminding everyone that this is open to all made-in-USA muscle cars and to anyone - whether or not they're on the PY forum.

If you're a member of a club or have discussions with fellow gear heads, please mention this to them.

I'd really like this to be successful so that we can do it again in the future. Money is tight for everyone and saving $100+ helps.

I have a friend of mine that will buy one also. He wants the 2 row 1 1/4" tubes. He has a '68 Chevelle 'vert with a 427 and a four speed. It's a Chevy, but a very nice car.

His cousin has a '78 280Z with a BB chevy in it, can he purchase one thru this group buy??

That's the spirit stucky2947!!

If you're OK with it, I'll coordinate your friends purchase through you until we get the 30 units - then I'll ask you for his email address and he can go directly through Griffin.

I'm not sure on the Z-car, what is the configuration of the radiator that's in it now?
Unless it'a drop-in USA muscle car type it will be a special build and they don't qualify.

Let me know.................

Normally the fan mounts rear of the radiator and pulls the air fore to aft, which is probably what you want. Some guys keep their stock fan and add a fan on the front of the radiator and refer to this as a "pusher" fan setup. A pusher would be set up as a auxillary fan with either a manual switch or thermostat that trips it at a certain temp. You'll probably want this for those long drives thru the Netherland desert:>

Daan,

When I say "pull" I mean that the fans will be on the engine side of the radiator pulling air thru the radiator.

The radiator would be a 2-row 1.25" with an aluminum shroud and (2) fans including all the sensors, relays, harness', etc.

Cost for the radiator, shroud and fans: $1000.
Cost for the FedEX .......................: 248.

Let me know if I can be of any further help Daan.
