Default 70 Bonneville vert, what's it worth??

This car is for sale locally for $16k. Seems cheap and looks nice.. . Is it worth any more than this? It's supposed to have a rebuilt 455 and rebuilt trans.

455? Could be worth all that.

Looks like a really nice car, but can't tell much details from three pics. Price seems very reasonable. I don't think it's worth a whole lot more if you're considering flipping it. A nice original sold on Hemmings auction recently for $13,650 https://www.hemmings.com/auction/197...wULAqtm6OYCJ58

Here is a another sold by Streetside Classics - listed price was $25k. https://www.streetsideclassics.com/vehicles/7693-CHA/1

Both were also 455 cars.

Almost certain a 455 4bbl was the base engine in a 70 Bonneville. Good looking car. Personally like the color combination allot. As a car to flip, might make a couple thousand on it. The big car market is really soft right now. Top of the market for a car like that is 20-25K . Hardtops have a tough time topping 20K unless really special. These cars seem to be down about 10K from peak prices. Not trying to be a downer because I own a nice full size 4-speed car now. 70 Bonneville, price per pound couldn't be better!!!

Yea, come to think of that: 7040262 on top a 4234 on YH 455, into a PA TH400.

And the 15" Rally II should have Rally Lug nuts sized for Half-Inch Studs.
