1971 - 72 Grand Prix Rear Seat - Trunk Divider Insulation
Looking for a photo of an original '71 - '72 rear seat/trunk divider insulation in place with the rear seat removed.
Thanks, Grant |

Grant, I would imagine my 71 has this intact and undisturbed.
Are you looking for its exact factory position?

Harvey... I thought of your car, but I didn't want to put you through the trouble to remove both seats just to get a photo.
I'm going to replace the current thin hard cardboard type that was installed during the restoration with a more correct soft padded style like they originally had. The one I bought is listed for a GTO and requires cutting around the vapor tube area so I wanted to compare the two before installing it if possible. Thanks, Grant |

I wouldn't be opposed to yanking that rear seat out for some detailed pictures...

I'll get you some pix in a couple of weeks when I'm back in Tampa.

Update
For you '69 to '72 GP owners needing to replace your rear seat divider, this "soft" padded style listed for the '68 - '72 GTO worked out great. Ames part #K161F, it's very close to the original GP version. I only had to cut two horizontal slits in it for the hooks/hangers that holds it in place. And for my '71, I did not have to modify it for the vertical vapor canister, it simply lays over it.
