Yeah, some of the gills are still in OE packaging, should be easy to find.

I looked, the rod I have is an F body one, but I used to have a couple for a '72 GTO I used to have. Sorry. I do have the accordion seal though.

The engine side bolt and bushing, you can make one, but they are available. Here's a place that has them, with the correct length bolt, as well as dimensions, GM #9791018:

http://www.4speedconversions.com/9791018.html

Bolt measurement GM # 9427314:

http://www.4speedconversions.com/9427314_bolt.html

The measured the washers too GM# 3702807:

http://www.4speedconversions.com/3702807_washer.html

They have the upper rods too (GM 9791712), as well as the whole assembly. I've seen the springs in HELP! products before, but some sell the correct length ones as a set for like $15.

Sorry no luck this time but hope that helps!

EDIT: Speed Direct does the hiem joint rods, and sure you can make your own with a couple ends and threaded tube.

Final thought, you can always convert to the earlier 68-70 type.

What I got is actually the 70 style stuff so I will be looking for those parts from that set up, we have time as we are concentrating on the body for now. Mark

So as an update, still struggling with trunk lid, may do a 3rd one as fit just is not right, have another that is better fitting on this car. Jon stripped down both doors and they are nice rot wise with a few small dents. Still hunting down a few small parts, cant find the fender gills, thought we had overlooked them in the parts he was given but went through everything and did not see them. Maybe need to hunt again as they are not a large item. Hood was finished up and some work to a 70 Judge wing (it is a repro) has been done trying to get that set up. He wants one on there and it is his car.

So as an update, we finished up working the wing, and both doors are done along with the header, front valance and hood. We have not figured out the trunk situation yet.

Pretty sure I have one I can donate to the cause. Post a picture of exactly what you're looking for and I'll check. PM me your address so I can send it up.

Default duct

This is the remains of what he is looking for, this goes up to the defrost holes in the metal part of the dash. He was not amused when I said just don't drive in the cold.

So he got the wiring harness put in for under the dash and the front lamp harness, as well as the engine harness. We also put on the core support and hung one fender just to see how that would go.

Well depending on how things go I think we will be deep into it by fall but who knows it is coming along nicely for sure.

I have been remiss in updating our call for help, several members reached out to help. The Boss came through and even dropped 2 by the house for him to get it back together. He went way above to help Jon out so thanks. A couple of other members offered to raid there stashes etc thanks there too. I was trying to link up with Alex too as he has offered to help him out when I can get with him. So thanks for all the support here This is truly an amazing group of guys who are really passionate about these cars. Big thanks to Boss for going out of his way, it is in and set already, I have been nuts covering down for a guy at work putting in a ton of hours which has kept me away this week from here.

Awesome to see a community coming together to help a fellow enthusiast in need! It's even better to see another young gun getting his hands dirty and learning the kind of joy this hobby brings! Love seeing the progress.

What I am most impressed with is as we are going along more and more he is just doing stuff with less guidance. he did the fender alignment basically by himself and together we did the hood, he got it all and made it seem fairly easy. Growing up I guess, I want to thank everyone here for being a part of it. Mark

a bit of welding last pm and we fitted the header/nose last pm. Fit perfectly with good lines, which was a most welcome surprise!

Nice! Try to get some progress pics up!

Yeah, this weekend I'm going to make a point of updating my build thread, I've sooo neglected it! I have a sea of pics I need to weed thru.
