Best way to deal with these dash cracks?
1970 GTO.
Original dash. Overall too nice in my opinion to replace or even just a pad overlay. But I want to address.

"Yes, it's a real GTO. I know the scoops, spoiler, exhaust tips, and rear wheels are wrong. Umm, sure it's the 'big block' 400, you are quite the expert. I am driving in the rain, at night, running errands, with the kids who are eating and having ice cream in the back, after going to the drag strip, burning rubber, and blowing donuts. Do you really think it's numbers matching all original?" |

It's been several years since I used them but there was a company in Kansas City called Dr Vinyl. I had them fix some spots in the vehicle I was driving at the time. I had a puncture in my dash pad and a peeled up spot on the console cover. I had to look real hard to see the repair. It was quite reasonable cost wise. I wouldn't have done it otherwise. I was more financially challenged at that time. I'm sure its a franchise type of deal. Probably something similar in your area. I would try that before I went for a replacement.
