Default Fuel delivery.

I'm running this pump. https://aeromotiveinc.com/product/a750-fuel-pump-2/

Do you think it will support 800H/P? Literature says it will support 1000 hp Naturally Aspirated.

Found this on P/Y. I forget who posted it. Thanks for posting. I will try this today see what happens. Thanks for any help.

Also, what is Your fuel system? I would pull the line from the carb, run the pump through the regulator into a 5 gal gas can. Run it for 1 minute to check how much gas it pumps. General rule is a motor needs 1/2 lb (weight) of fuel per HP per Hour.. So a 600 HP motor will need 300 lbs by weight of fuel per hour. 1 pound of gas weighs 6.5 lbs. So using this formula Run the pump through the regulator for 1 minute. If it pumps 2 gallons of gas that shoukd be enough to support 780 HP. ( 2gal. X 6.5lbs X 60minutes)

I posted that previously. I have used that formula for years, not sure where I got it from but for NA power it works.

Are you using gasoline?

The .5 is basically from the BSFC of the engine.
If you know the BSFC of your engine from dyno use that in place of the .5

Alcohol (methanol) would be double the gasoline rating.

1000 HP, Not likely. Solid 600 hp NA pump.
Maybe ok for 750 HP NA. 1000 HP, I would find that claim exceptional.

Only guy I know of who drag raced a 1000+ HP NA Pontiac was Mike Leech
and he wasn't running a Aeromotive single 750 fuel pump to my knowledge.

Thanks guys. Well just got done checking the pump. Like Tom say's, not likely. It produced 5.5 liters which is approx 1.45 gallons. Basically a 1/2 gallon away. That was at 12.5 volts on the battery. I would like to check with the battery at 13.5 volts but need to do outside when warm. I'll have to look at the bigger pump.

I'm gonna have to test my pump using this method again for my new motor. This time I know the engine dyno numbers. Also remember this is a static test. You still need take the force created by acceleration and the weight of the "column" of fuel in the fuel lines into account when considering wether or not your pump will be enough for the combo
