I bought some from Dennys Driveshaft several years ago. I don’t know where they are made though.

AMK has the US made fasteners, most are NOS. Scroll down to the bottom of the 12th page. Only issue is they require a $30 minimum order but only place to get the correct grade nut, bolts, etc.

AMK is the only one that I can think of that makes them in the US. DANA Spicer is what the OEs used to use, at the time they were made in the US, are now a mix of US/China, but the China stuff will be moving back.

If you are just trying to support US-made stuff, it's a tough call, because even if they are made in the US, the steel can still come from China. (I am not sure where AMK's steel comes from). I'd like to think now that Pittsburg steel plants are roaring that it would be where AMK gets their steel, and it is fairly close by, with direct rail and air access.

The AMK facility is in Winchester, VA, and employs (mostly) local people, and are advocates for the local community. They are patriots at heart.

Aside from all that, if your concern is quality, the u-bolts are under very little load, and the DANA Spicer ones work fine. I may be mistaken, but think the nuts are specific, they are flat all the way across the faces, to bite more of the lock washers. My understanding is they are not grade 8.

Make sure your yoke is good. I've seen many damaged from years or incorrect u-joint installation where the locating 'nubs' for the caps are worn badly. No way you can properly center the joint in that case.
