Leo wound up with the highest qualified Pontiac powered car in both Stock & Super Stock. He's #22 in Stock, with a .913 under 10.487, & #8 in SS, with a .938 under 9.562. A nice pair of Birds !

Congratulations. Getting into the 4th round at a national event is a great way to start the year. Way to keep the Pontiac injun out there. Also, thanks for the updates every year. It's great to see these cars in real competition.

Racing is underway in AZ.
In Stock Q-1, Scott Burton is #13 with his RAIV '70 Bird. Brad Burton is #31 with his 455HO '72 Bird. Chris Stephenson is #37 with his '68 400 Bird. Leo Glasbrenner is #38 with his '68 RA2 Bird. And Randi Lyn Shipp is #42 with her '67 400 Bird. http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...UMMIT#indextop In SS Q-1, Leo Glasbrenner is #17 with his alum head 428 powered 4th gen. And Brad Burton is #35 with the Burton's 3rd gen. It appears that they have also moved up to a bigger engine, since the car is running in GT/GA. The only Pontiac powered car I can see, at the div 2 race, is the G/SA '73 bird, driven by Allen Hollingsworth. It's listed in the #11 qualifying position.
