What happens on the track is what really matters.

Those are nice carbs though. Book said the ones he built beat his best effort Aussy Pro Stock dominators in power and ET... Pretty cool.

... they are badass little pieces, but they still have all 4150 spacing and centerlines so technically they are 4150 carbs ...

When it comes to 1000+ hp engines I'll admit I don't know Jack, I'll also admit I don't know Dick... Puns intended.
I do have to wonder though what Dick thinks about his engine being dragged through the sewer that all CV threads end up in.

I think anyone that understands what an engine on this level takes to complete is inmpressed. EVEN JACK. The posts like "jack calling gaby" "its only 13/1 and jack was 14/1 so ours is way better" insert carbs etc. For real John Marcella posted the first congratulations thread. And slam Jack in the opening post. Like i said entertaining though.

Seems my previous post was not taken for the sarcasm it was intended to be...oops forgot the emoticon I do know Bill's "4150's" arent run of the mill...he builds some awesome carbs! That said I have seen 1st hand, more ordinary 4150('s) carbs(certainly not stock but not anything like Bills carbs) run as well and sometimes better than 4500's (same engine, same vehicle, day, and track!). My point is you dont need Domi's to be a "racer" and if one puts a bit of time/effort in "regular" 4150's you can get very good results...sometimes equal or better than the "race car" domi's ...imagine that! |

That's all the rules. Beech Bend is a slight possibility if Fulton goes.

1/4 mile is a drag race...this race will take place at Norwalk, not "around here". I think this is a put up or shut up kinda moment. Nice job to all involved..Bill is a very smart and well accomplished builder that proved the cv1 can make power, even in nitrous "trim". Dont know Mr. Fulton personally but have never seen anything to lead me to believe he is anything less then a class act. Glad he went the route he did with the builder and heads. My money is on Mr. Fulton and his band of CV1 misfits
