We were out with dads car Sunday. He went an 9.04@146.7 , and a 9.09@148.4. The converter stahls at 6400 and has close to 12% slippage on the big end. He is getting two converters sent down to Lenny at Ultimate to try two of them out before winter.

I might try and get out this weekend.
Lenny @ Ultimate got some rave reviews over on yellowbullet in the NA section.

Let us know how they work out,
Tom Syron

I stand corrected, but the quality of the casting of this head is second to none. You will not find a porosity issue with them, Period. The next best thing is a CNC billit head, the only thing you will find is a slight parting line with them. Other head manufactuers would be up on one to cast such a head. The brinnel is good, and they don't have to be helicoiled. Valve train geometry is great also. No sunken head bolts or stud nuts with these. And you won't grind into porosity with them either. You would have to show me one of these with pin holes in it to make me a beliver.

If they could only make some N/A power they would be great.

Anyway, how is Larry Quinn doing?

Larry ran 5.65's last weekend pulling big wheel stands. Adam posted a video of it and my slow street car from our last nostalgia race. His car is running great.

yes,
the little stock block nitrous motor has broken a spragless convertor and 2 th400 trannies in 6 passes. so hes a little cautious at this point.
but the motor is fine, despite banging the limiter hard more than once.

This is Lil Jack and Holmes, right?

This is with no waiting for the NOS bottle to get up to pressure, no 30 minute crew members deciding what pills to run, etc., just line 'em up and go?

I'd take Holmes.

Norwalk scale said 3480#, Cecils Last week said 3495#, Cecils is always been heavy.

I doubt Holmes would want to add that much weight. Only a crazy person weighs over 3400#S.

Was he at Norwalk this year?
