John,

The intake is the tunnel ram. They just put two smaller carbs on the engine and it responded very well. It's a juice motor, I don't have the cam specs, I'm sure the engine is pumping some compression. The heads are not my port or fully ported, some chamber work, my valve job and bowl blend. The car was put on hold the last year as John was working on his "other" cars.

What is that red 65 GTO, around 6.40 lbs per ci???

Don't you mean he melted that chit down again at 1k' and lifted.

That car is a chassis fiberglass race car that is 1k#s less then mine. Thats the problem you use your calculator too much.

You mean on hold while he waited for pistons, and fixed the heads from all those little pit holes around the spark plug in the chamber. Yes, I saw the head.

$500 bucks says your car isn't 1000lbs heavier. Put up or shut up! And your motor is almost 80 ci bigger?

Come on Jack, he just matched your best lifting @ 1000ft. Where's that 7? did you get it yesterday?

The head was not porise at all, the chamber needed to be softened for the spray.

I understood what Jack was saying in his original post.

The "Spray Calibration" was a little aggressive and wounded the head.

Nothing to do with the quality of the casting of the CV-1 Head. Boy, you guys are

"gun-shy" on that casting stuff.

Can't you tell... Lou and Jack graduated from the same elementary school. To bad they didn't follow up with continuing education. No matter how well a CV1 combo performs, these guys will try and knock it down, it's sad that they don't support a great product, and continue to demean it in any way they can, especially not haveing any first hand exsperience with the formentioned product.

Okay, 800#s lighter. Was he scared to run it out the back door, the last 200' seperates the boys from the men.

We were out with dads car Sunday. He went an 9.04@146.7 , and a 9.09@148.4. The converter stahls at 6400 and has close to 12% slippage on the big end. He is getting two converters sent down to Lenny at Ultimate to try two of them out before winter.

I might try and get out this weekend.
