Outside of you and the Dude fighting over magazine space, Wheelie Boy, John L,, Bruce M,
and several others just seem to be loading their shotguns and waiting for you "turkeys" to show up at the first event. Going to be some serious a$$
woop-ings going on this year and it will not be
from the normal players.

Better have your good tune-ups in the vehicles.

Food for thought!

Seems like the smack talk should be getting into high gear. Spring, and racing season is right around the corner.

Been getting some tips to bet on Open Body cars lately! Figures I'm still laying glass.

Biggest news seems to be three blocks and six different aluminum heads to choose from.

What's "scary fast" to you may not be to others.

Like say...
a 10 second car, or an 8 second car. The difference between those 2 seconds is very big, both in speed, reaction time, and $.
Now... mach 2, that's pretty damned "scary fast".

I guess you can decide for yourself when Norwalk rolls around...beside I can't talk smack to the Ford and Chevy boys unless I'm in the 8's...quarter mile that is.....like I said before, its coming.....

Same Q here.

I think it's safe to say that we will now have heads and blocks just about covered, the pontiac steel cranks are long over due.

The fast Ford guys are running 6.40s now so you
will need to step it up a bit. You may have the Chebby guys covered though.

Tom, 6-7 seconds is how long a Ford transaxle last too!!!!!!!!! Maybe Ford needs effort there instead of trying to beat GM in the horsepower race. All this when GM decided to stop making pony cars of coarse.

Yea, I was just saying to my Ford buddy the other day how fast Fords are. They can't make it in Pro Stock......nor Pro Mod! They were fast in the late 60's early 70's. Lets not beat a dead horse, this is a PONTIAC web site.

Headed for the seven's!

Its alright George, As soon as a Chebby or a Traditional Pontiac runs 6.40s at 3000 lb with a single power adder I will be right there to congratulate them.

My buddy with the blown flathead streamliner went 315 last fall at Bonneville so given enough effort
you can make a Pontiac run fast too.

Flatheads and Pontiacs are both the same, haven't
been in production for years and all of the speed parts cost cubic dollors.

Fords are the fastest cars on the planet. Bar none in drag racing right now.

Anyone here going 7's with a 360ci Pontiac? In a 10" tired, 3000lb street legal car? NOPE.

No one here is doing that without a 2600lb Pro Stock car and a HUGE motor.

Pontiacs are a joke in the drag racing world. A few people are trying to change that, but if you go to an event that has other brands vs Pontiacs, Pontiac almost never come out on top.

Ask Bruce M., Ray Cox, Pontiac Dude, John Langer, and the others who actaully do more than bracket race at Pontiac only events.....

A statement was made, another incorrect one was made.

Some folks just can't handle reality. Nothing wrong with admitting you're down on HP to a Ford or Chevy.

We'll stay here as long as we like, because some of us like both.......

Actually you have to run into the 7's now-a-days to compete with Chevies and Fords...... Heads up.

The brothers beater looking 4 door cars run low 8's and high 7's just for Funday Sundays down here.

Chevies in the 8's, that was in the 90's, 4 years ago.

Ask Ray what it will take to stay competitive this year in one of the few Cheaper, Lower classes of heads up racing.
He better have his game on in the real lowwwwwwwwwww 8's.

If Pontiac doesn't watch out, the ricer 4 cylinder heads up movement will past Pontiac up. LOL.

A few of them down here are in the low 9's and high 8's.

Now that's embarrassing.
