GTO clone?
I don't know what to make of this one, but it looks like a bunch of money was spent!

I really like it, I love the look of the 72 Ventura, and I think it was tastefully done. I would love to own it, but it is priced way to high for me.

1966 2+2. I looked at this car yesterday. I offered $7000.. he came down to $9000... then texted me later saying he'll take $8000 after I was half way home and already talked myself out of it. Car runs and drives. No rust except for the trunk floor. Has the 421 in it.

If the frame and floors were good and it had a correct 421 under the hood, that seems like a solid car for 8K. Has all the hard to find specific 2+2 side trim, plus the interior looks complete and in tact. I would have to do a color change. Just couldn't live with that gold/brown color, but some may love it. I can say from experience, they are just great cars. I loved the ones I owned. I see you have a 66 2+2 in your list of owned cars. So you know how cool they are, also how difficult and expensive they can be to restore.

That 2+2 at 8k sounds like my type of project.

I originally offered 12k on offerup. Once I got out there I offered 7k.
My buddy went over today and bought it for $8000. Tags were expired and car was parked on the street. I was afraid it was going to get impounded and end up at pick-n-pull..

That 66 was a good one to save. Kinda hard to believe those cars are still out there in that condition. It looked straight out of 1982.
CA seems to be very kind to cars and women when it comes to age. |

Would you believe it's a 'tribute' to Chef from South Park? No? Would you believe... But seriously, that looks like Isaac Hayes' ride 40 years later. Everything old is new again? |
