Any body out there using a Projection TBI on a Pontiac motor? The Holley Commander computer has some generic fuel maps I was wondering how close they would be for a Pontiac 400 fairly stock motor.

Not yet, but I'm getting close. The entire unit is still on the shelf in the barn waiting for the finished long block.
Based on other's help/advice, looks like the furnished fuel pump will not provide enough flow above 5000 rpm. for my combo. So I'll be upgrading to another electrical pump. But only after I confirm it won't keep up.

I had bought a pro-jection system and installed it on my gto, wouldnt stay running after initial fire up. went thru trouble shooting tons until i finally yanked it off and reinstalled the carb and pump. . Replaced a couple items that i figured may be problems and put it back on again, same thing. would fire but once let go of key it would not continue running. Yanked it back off. It sat for about another year, I decided to send the wiring harness back thinking that it was possibly put together wrong. By this time I was sick of putting it in my GTO, decided to try it on my 85 Cutlass w/ Olds 455 and it fired right up. Lets just say I have terrible luck with stuff, I got a bad wiring harness with the thing originally. I really like it, however it is the old style one not the digital one and it cant be programmed on a computer. it has 6 adjustment knobs on it. The cutlass is my daily driver now for about 3 years with the system on it and it has worked good. I still have to tinker with the adjustments some more. Havent gotten it exactly right. Also my trans started slipping about 2 days after I installed this but it ran like a bat outta hell for those 2 days. Ill get around to getting this all working good after my GTO is back up and running.

oh yeah, and I also want to eventually get one for the Goat too.
